One of our patients wrote this poem to explain her need for a Urogynecologist . . .
No More Silence
Two children I've had, one girl and one boy. A dream come true and filled with such joy!
Since birth there are changes only noticeable to me. Sneezing causes wetness of various degree.
To cough or lift can result in the same, Pelvic floor weakness from delivery to blame.
Our mothers lived in silence embarrassed to ask, searching privately for protection became a new task.
Liners and pads for the "just in case", To elevate embarrassment and avoid disgrace.
Stopping at bathrooms at every chance, Proactively emptying to avoid wet pants.
Training yourself to frequently flow, creates over active bladder, and you go... go... go...!
Don't wait till the problem worsens each year, Limiting your activities from unnecessary fear.
A simple procedure is available now, Dr. Ramsey is a specialist and can explain just how!
No longer does panic arise from a sneeze. The procedure was simple, creating such ease!
